Viral Video: Elderly Woman Confronts Armed Snatchers In Ludhiana, Shields Another Woman; Earns Praise

A Woman! When it comes to being brave in the face of possible death– to save a loved one– a woman is the one who mostly comes at the top! The internet was reminded of something similar after a video reportedly from Punjab’s Ludhiana surfaced on social media. The clip showed an attempted robbery in action, which ended in a huge fail after an elderly woman decided to stand her ground, displaying courage and bravery. The clip showed two armed snatchers suddenly stopping their vehicle in front of the women on a scooter. Somewhat pinning the two against a car, one of the snatchers began to attack the duo with a sharp weapon. It was at this time that one of the women- who seemed elderly- began to confront the snatcher.Not only did the elderly woman confront the man,

but she was also seen trying to shield the other woman. Luckily for the victims, the snatchers at the end had no other option but to run away empty-handed. The entire incident was caught on a CCTV camera installed nearby. Apart from the elderly woman’s bravery, what caught everyone’s eye was the reaction of the other woman– who seemingly ran for her own safety, leaving the elder one behind. Another thing that was quick to trigger netizens was how the car immediately drove off after the snatcher ran away, hinting towards the presence of another person at the spot, who seemingly to NOT help the duo.Times Now could not confirm the details of the post.
