‘Negligible parenting’ and ‘blatant traffic rule violations’ were all that reflected after a disturbing video from Hyderabad came forward. The clip showed a driver speeding his car “over 100 Km/h”, while 4 young kids were spotted sitting in the car’s boot. Seemingly, the decision was for the sake of making space for the minors, as the vehicle looked completely occupied with adults sitting carefree inside the car. The clip was recorded by another commuter who was driving behind them. Fortunately enough, the highway was almost free, with comparatively less vehicles around, but the act itself and the speed were deadly enough to raise eyebrows.The cameraperson’s obvious shock was evident in the video, as he expressed his concern for the kids and their

safety. The video immediately went viral, pulling many reactions. Most criticised the parents of the said kids, while some called it a “classic example of carelessness”.Reportedly, the matter also came into the notice of the Cyberabad Traffic Police, who responded to the video on social media. The Cyberabad Traffic Police shared a statement, where it informed that the vehicle has been penalised. Reportedly, the vehicle owner is “not available” at the moment, but a “tele-counselling” was conducted, along with the police strictly advising against such behavior."The vehicle has been penalised for the violation. As the owner of the vehicle was not available, we conducted tele-counselling and strictly advised against such dangerous and risky driving practices or violating traffic rules in the future," the police said in a statement," the statement read."We also request all motorists and members of the public not to engage in unsafe driving that endangers lives, especially children and other road users.
