What Pakistan could not– Indian did, and quite successfully- was the gist of what this man believed after Bollywood gave one of the biggest hits to the country; ‘Dhurandhar’. A video was shared online, which was allegedly of Habib Jan Baloch, a ‘friend’ of Rehman Dakait. In the video, Baloch thanked Bollywood for including Dakait’s character in a hit movie and showing him as a ‘hero’. However, it’s important to note that Rehman Dakait was not a hero in Dhurandhar, it was rather about him being in the focus, where Akshaye Khanna did an excellent job in bringing out the best of the character, with some killer vibes and acting skills. Coming back to Habib Jan Baloch, in the clip, he further called Dakait a ‘hero’, claiming that he did many “favours”
for Pakistan. He further stated how Pakistan never showed him in a good light, but Bollywood put him in the spotlight.Dhurandhar is doing great at the Box Office; the film has already crossed the Rs 900 crore mark worldwide, while in India, it has earned over Rs 600 crore so far, as per Sacnilk. The film is about an Indian spy, who infiltrated the heart of the Pakistani mafia and politics; Hamza Ali Mazari, where the spy’s character was played by Ranveer Singh. To further grow his hold in Pakistan, Singh’s character joined the gang of Rehman Dakait, whose character was played by Akshaye Khanna. The hit movie came out on December 05, 2025, while its second part has been scheduled to be released in March next year. The Ranveer Singh-starrer film was star-studded; Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, and more.Coming back to the video, “I saw the film twice, it is a great movie. India’s Bollywood made a film on him, thank you, Bollywood. Rehman Dakait was a hero; he did a lot of favours for Pakistan,” Baloch was heard saying.Times Now could not confirm the details and the authenticity of the post.Check out the viral post: “Rehman Dacoit's friend, Habib Jan Baloch says Rehman was a hero and claims Indian films portrayed him as a villain.
