Bengaluru is back under the scrutiny- and this time, it’s not the rapidly changing weather or the slow traffic, it’s the city’s property prices instead! Taking to social media, a woman recalled her life in Bengaluru, that she had two years ago. Allegedly, she, along with a companion, was not able to buy a flat in the IT Hub of India. “In Bangalore, with 2 people's salary we had hard time to buy a flat,” the woman wrote. Allegedly, the duo ended up cancelling the purchase. However, things were quick to change after she moved to the UK.Not only did she end up buying a 3-room apartment in the UK, but the purchase was allegedly made on just one person’s salary. “2 years after moving to the UK I bought an independent 3 bed house, with all kitchen
appliances - gas, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, oven, carpet , lighting, etc. with backyard , good views, and parking,” the post continued.Apart from affordable prices, the woman also lauded the easy process that is followed outside India, as she claimed she was not asked for any “black money”, and even got a “1st buyer discount”, along with “100 per cent transparency.”“No one asked for black money. Bought it on 1 person's salary. Got a 1st buyer discount.100 per cent transparency, " the post concluded. The post immediately went viral, pulling many reactions. Most found the move “relatable”, and recalled their own similar decisions, while others claimed that such a change would “hardly affect property prices in India”.Times Now could not confirm the authenticity of the post.Check out the viral post:The post was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by the handle ‘hellonehha’.
