When this Odisha man tried doing ‘animal cruelty’ in the name of ‘looking cool’, the act ended up biting him in the back. A video is circulating on social media– that shows the man casually walking around with a snake in his neck. By the looks of it, the man was flaunting his fearlessness, while people around him watched in confusion and shock. However, the shock soon turned into pure horror after the animal began to act out, possibly due to stress.As seen in the clip, the snake began to repeatedly bite the man. The man, on the other hand, was seen trying to kiss the snake, while the reptile was seen attacking him multiple times. Despite the attacks, the man continued to walk around– only to regret it later. Turns out, the snake was highly venomous, resulting in the man’s condition worsening with time. The man was reportedly identified as Subal Sahu, a mason by profession. Soon, he was rushed to the Bhadrak District Headquarters Hospital.The reptile was also brought to the hospital in a small container. At first, the doctors were unable to identify the snake’s specific species. Later, it was the members of the Snake Helpline who identified the reptile to be an albino banded krait, which is a rare and highly venomous snake.
