After Gurugram man Himanshu Jangra made misogynistic remarks involving ‘Rs 370 biryani vasooli’ on the Pranit More show, the comment received backlash, leading to him being fired from his company and Pranit More deactivating his Instagram. Now, a woman doctor who made comments about male corpses’ private parts on the same show is going viral and facing immense backlash. The woman at the centre of the controversy has been identified as Sejal Pawar. According to her Instagram bio (before she made her account private), she is posted at Mumbai’s KEM Hospital.During her interaction on Pranit More’s show, Pawar reportedly spoke about her experiences working with cadavers, claiming that she and her colleagues would compare the sizes of male cadavers’
private parts. The remark came in response to a question from More about whether doctors remain serious or make jokes while conducting autopsies.(Viewer's Discretion Advised, Disturbing Remarks)
The comments quickly went viral, drawing strong criticism online, with many users calling them insensitive and disrespectful towards body donors. While such shows often feature candid audience exchanges, critics said joking about deceased bodies crossed an ethical line, especially given the importance of cadavers in medical training.Several medical students and professionals also reacted strongly. One user wrote, "As a medical student, mocking a cadaver is one of the worst things you can do."Others highlighted that body donation is a significant and selfless act by individuals and families to support medical science, and said such remarks could undermine public trust in the practice.Reports suggest that Pawar later issued an apology on Instagram, although her account is now not accessible.Meanwhile, comedian Pranit More has also come under scrutiny over the viral clips from his show. Facing sustained backlash, he has since deactivated his Instagram account.
