‘Bhot Achi Lag Ri Hain’: Delhi Man’s ‘Creepy Behaviour’ Leaves Photoshoot Model Uncomfortable

Seeming, harassment and passing problematic and even creepy comments on women in India has reached a level that some men are doing it openly enough that even OTHER MEN are getting uncomfortable! A video was recently shared on the internet, which was shared by a Delhi man, recalling how he and his female friend ended up facing a rather uncomfortable situation. The duo was allegedly doing a photoshoot, where the woman was the one modelling while the man was the photographer. The two were on a foot over bridge near the Supreme Court Metro Station, when a man passing by stopped and began to watch the woman.After a while, the photographer confronted the man, to which he simply said that he was just “watching the photoshoot”. He then went on to comment on the woman,

as he said, “Ma’am bhot achi lag rahi hain (Ma’am is looking really good).”As per the young photographer, the man then began to "murmur" something quite creepily. It was only after he saw a cop passing by that the man left the area. The duo, however, was anyway left uncomfortable, prompting them to leave the area.The video went viral in an instant, leaving netizens fuming. Most called it a “failure of Indian society” and the “normalisation of eve-teasing”, while some recalled their own similar instances. Times Now could not confirm the details of the post.
