Not always does one need to accept anything and everything– in the name of it being a “rule”. Reminding the internet of the importance of ‘not backing down’ while knowing full-well that you are in the right, a Mumbai woman’s rather interesting and even “inspiring” story-time went viral. As per her video, she was on a walk inside her society premises, which is when she saw the society guard not letting a resident in with her vehicle. As per the guard, residents were no longer allowed to let their rides in, to drop them off– as per a “new rule”.Not blindly accepting the guard’s “new rule”, the woman decided to speak up on the matter, which was then quick to escape to the point that the woman had to call the Mumbai Police to inquire about the existence
of such a rule. Not-so-surprisingly, the police allegedly informed that no such rule exists, and the woman can call them at her society whenever she wants, to clarify the same. She then called her landlord regarding the same, who also agreed with her stance. Later, moved by her resort, the landlord helped her in forwarding the same to the society apartment committee through an email, resulting in the "illegal and the new rule” finally getting revoked. The video immediately went viral, pulling all kinds of reactions. Most admired the woman for her determination, while some called the incident “inspiring”.Times Now could not confirm the details and the authenticity of the post.Check out the viral post:“War is over!” the post read. The post was shared on Instagram by the handle ‘Kashish Kapoor’. It was shared 3 days ago and pulled more than 154K views from people.
