The employee further explained that he had a leg injury, due to which he was in no condition to come to the office, only
to get the CEO’s above-mentioned ‘special warning’. As per the post, the Redditor explained that he was working at a startup, where his manager and the HR had resigned, due to which he went ahead and took WFH by himself. “When I took WFH,” the post read. “To give some context I work on a startup which is multinational. There were no rules informed to me about WFH and leaves, earlier I had a manager to whom I used to send emails asking for leaves, since the manager and HR both resigned I have to directly ask the CEO. Now, I very rarely take WFH, this is the 2nd time in taking since 7 months. And the way I did it was send an email "informing" that I'll be working from home today and didn't explain the genuine reason. Because I don't believe that I need to over explain stuff and thought it was normal to ask this way. Then my CEO messages me like this. Note : The CEO is not ‘Indian’,” the post read. The post was shared on Reddit, by the handle ‘BeatAdditional3046’. The post was shared a day ago and pulled many views from netizens.
