A woman enjoying a plate of golgappas suddenly found herself in a frightening medical situation when her jaw popped out of place mid-bite, an incident now making waves online.The unexpected jaw dislocation left her unable to close her mouth, triggering intense pain and panic. Her family rushed her to a nearby clinic, where doctors attempted to treat her but soon realised the injury was more complicated than they could handle. With the situation worsening, she was referred to a more advanced medical centre for specialised care. A video of the incident has since gone viral, leaving pani-puri fans shocked and uneasy.

According to a TOI report, the woman, identified as Inkila Devi from Auraiya, had stopped by a street-side golgappa stall with a family member during a visit to a local clinic. What began as a quick refreshment break took an alarming turn when she tried to bite into an unusually large golgappa.The force of the bite caused her lower jawbone to slip out of its normal position, locking her mouth wide open. Overwhelmed by sudden pain, Inkila was taken back to the clinic immediately.Doctors there provided initial aid but soon realised the dislocation was too severe for basic intervention. The jaw could not be realigned easily, leaving the medical team with no choice but to refer her to a higher medical facility for further treatment, the TOI report noted.
