What was supposed to be a stress-free return trip from Vietnam to India turned into a nightmare for an Indian woman who ended up missing her flight just a few days before her visa was about to expire. Taking to social media, the woman recalled the entire incident and blamed the online travel website that she had used to book her flight. As per the video, the woman was supposed to take a flight from an island to a Vietnamese city, before finally taking a flight to Kolkata. However, it turned out that the flight, which was supposed to take off at “10:05 PM”, got rescheduled to “7 PM”-- but the woman only got to know about it a few hours later. The woman claimed that the website not only did not update about the change, but also claimed that it was “unaware”
of the changed status when called. The airline, on the other hand, claimed that it had informed the website days ago about the change, leaving the woman frustrated and “stuck on an island” with her young daughter.Left with no other option at the end, the woman contacted the airport and rushed for another flight on the same day.“Somehow we reached the airport, bought a ticket with our own money and caught the last flight to Ho Chin Min. We had no help, no support, nothing,” the woman claimed. “Had I not used my brain we would have been stranded there, and god knows what would have happened next!! I'll move to consumer court next and take all legal action necessary, won’t let this go,” the woman commented. The video went viral in an instant, leaving many irked. The woman, too, expressed her frustration as she flagged the lapse.
