Ever since Dhurandhar’s mega success has further thrown Akshaye Khanna in the limelight, everything related to him is trending like crazy. From his entry dance that broke social media, to his acting skills
in not only Aditya Dhar’s latest masterpieces, but also his older movies- you name it, and it’s just Khanna all around. Amid the same ‘Khanna hype’, one of his old interviews resurfaced on social media, which quickly won over the internet. In the video, the actor was talking about HIS definition of ‘success’. The interviewer has seemingly asked about him not feeling successful enough, to which he stated how he is content with what he has achieved. The actor also stated how getting to lead a movie in a country of crores is in itself a success.“Until I don’t become Ratan Tata, or Azim Premji, am I not successful? Until I don't become Shah Rukh Khan, am I not successful? Have I not seen success? Am I not a star? Our country has people in crores, and among those, only 15 to 20 people get to lead a film; is that not enough success?” the actor was heard saying.“But will the people accept it? Because in India- jo dikhta h, wahi bikta h,” the interviewer responded.“If you tell you to either remain in headlines through controversy or such, or take an out from the industry, I would rather take an out. I will not change, I will remain what I am,” the actor further said. The hit movie, ‘Dhurandhar’, came out on December 05. Ranveer Singh-starrer film was star-studded; Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, and more. The movie is about an Indian spy, who infiltrated the heart of the Pakistani mafia and politics; Hamza Ali Mazari, where the spy character was played by Ranveer Singh. To further grow his hold in Pakistan, Singh’s character joined the gang of Rehman Dakait, whose character was played by Khanna.Times Now could not confirm the details of the post.Check out the viral post: “Actor Akshaye Khanna once said that he never felt the need to become No.1 in the industry. For him, real success means doing your work honestly, improving your craft, and getting opportunities because of your talent — not because of competition. He believes that you can be successful without chasing rankings or fame. If you’re growing, getting work, and doing what you love. That’s more than enough,” the post read. “A gentle reminder:You don’t have to beat everyone. You just have to be good at what you do and stay consistent,” the post further read.
