In a country like India, where crimes like road rage and traffic violations have been reduced to mere words- it’s natural that people have even started justifying and even flaunting them. Just a few days
ago, a ‘Thar driver’ made major headlines for glorifying his ‘power’, by stating how he was driving on the wrong side of the road without any consequences, and now, another incident is coming forward, where a man, despite driving a government vehicle, was confident enough to drive on the wrong side of a congested road in Bihar’s Chhapra. However, this time, the script ended up flipping in a rather unexpected manner.A video was shared on social media, which showed a woman- allegedly a journalist- confronting the said man with the government vehicle. Not only was the woman recording the entire thing as proof, but she was also brave with her confrontation, as she was heard asking the man about how he even got his driving license. For those not aware, driving on the wrong side of the road is a crime in India. The culprits can be punished under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) Section 279, which is for ‘rash/negligent driving’. The punishment for this involves ‘up to 6 months jail, a fine up to ₹1,000, or both’.As soon as the post went viral, netizens were left impressed by her. Times Now could not confirm the details of the post.Check out the viral post:“In Chhapra, a vehicle identified as a DM vehicle was reportedly driving on the wrong side during a traffic jam to overtake, with the driver. The driver then stepped out to confront a woman who is allegedly a journalist. Observing this, she immediately started filming, standing her ground with courage and composure while capturing the entire incident on camera,” the post read. The post was shared on Instagram by the handle ‘littichokha.ig’. The post was shared 2 days ago and pulled more than 196K views from people.
