‘Video First Help Later’- was the collective observation that took over the comments section of a rather heartbreaking video on social media. The clip showed a specially-abled man struggling while climbing
a malfunctioned escalator, while the rest of the people around him continued to walk up the halted stairs. The man also had a full-sized suitcase with him, which only made the entire climb a further difficult task. As per the post, the incident unfolded at Varanasi junction in Uttar Pradesh, leaving netizens questioning the lack of better facilities for differently-abled people. Netizens were also quick to call out the person recording the man, pointing out how the cameraperson decided to film the man’s struggle, instead of helping him out.The video began to float online, pulling all kinds of reactions. Many also chastised the rest of the crowd present at the junction for not helping the man. Times Now could not confirm the details and the authenticity of the post.
