Deteriorating AQIs, lung-related health issues, overall concerns over the city’s well-being– is all that is being talked about in the headlines on a daily basis. Something similar was highlighted yet again, after a Gurugram man shared a rather horrifying picture. Although the picture was simply of his air purifier’s filter- the amount of filth and dust the filter had caught over time, instantly turned the image into a ‘scary’ one, and left many stunned and even enraged.The image showed the filter being completely covered with dust, where the man had wiped it clean towards the end- to show the comparison of how it would have looked without dust.As soon as the post went viral, netizens began to react. Most found the incident sad, while some blamed the public for ignoring the ‘air crisis’ and the authorities for their ‘lack of action’ against air pollution.Times Now could not confirm the details and the authenticity of the post.

The post was shared yesterday and pulled more than 365K views from netizens.
