A candid exchange between hotel staff in Goa about tourist behaviour has gone viral, drawing mixed reactions online. The video, shared on Instagram by hospitality professional Hanumant Naik, captures a conversation with two hotel employees dressed in green uniforms. It opens with a shot of the hotel pool before shifting focus to the staff members as Naik discusses the expected drop in foreign tourists and the likelihood of more Indian guests. In the video, Naik asks the female staff member which tourists she prefers, giving her options of Delhi, Mumbai, or Bengaluru, and specifically checks if she would choose visitors from Delhi. She smiles and responds, “No sir." When questioned about the reason, she agrees that they can be rude and says, “They
talk like this: ‘O hello. O idhar. Paani laao. Chai laao’."She then draws comparisons with tourists from other cities. Talking about visitors from Mumbai, she says, “Mumbai wale achche hain. Vo log bahut respect se [baat karte hain]."Referring to Bengaluru tourists, she adds, “Bangalore tourists bhi achcha hai," and concludes with, “Delhi wala thoda rough hai." The male colleague standing next to her is seen agreeing with her remarks.Sharing the clip, Naik clarified that the video was not meant to target anyone but to highlight observations made by service staff. He wrote, “No hate to Delhi, only calling out behaviour that everyone quietly notices… And just to be clear, this isn’t even my personal opinion… it’s feedback from my service staff who deal with guests daily."He further added, “This reel is NOT for the well-behaved Delhi tourists, you’re always welcome."
