Usually, food carts, trucks or stalls are not what students bother with outside their test centres right before their examinations; however, the scenes outside Re-NEET exam centres in Delhi were a bit different. Going all traditional for students appearing at the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 re-examination, Swiggy’s Instamart seemingly decided to surprise young candidates with stalls selling ‘dahi-cheeni’ combinations outside several test centres in the national capital. A picture of students buying a ‘dahi-cheeni’ box from an Instamart stall was shared online, which went viral and left people amused. For those confused, many Indians believe in consuming ‘dahi-cheeni’ for luck, right before an important
moment . The practice is more commonly done before exams or interviews. One of the images showed the inside of the box, which had a sealed cup of curd, along with a sachet of sugar. The outer box also had some rather encouraging words written on it, “Papaer kardoge beat, exam hoga ekdum NEET.”Check out the viral post: “The dahi-cheeni ritual outside NEET centres in Delhi,” the post read.
