The deadly Delhi blast near the Red Fort Metro Station on Monday, November 10, not just shook the national capital but the entire nation. While the probing agencies swung into action to get hold of those
behind the heinous act that claimed at least 12 lives, the social media was flooded with its own fair share of opinions, suggestions, criticism, and a few hypotheses. In one such instance, a user on Reddit posted a rather unusual account that he allegedly observed at the Red Fort Metro Station– hours before the blast occurred. The Redditor, a class 12th student, shared about the alleged unusual beefed-up security that he noticed at the station. As per the post, the student found the extra security uncommon, leading to him asking if there was something going on in Delhi. “Is something going on in Delhi?” the post’s title had read.As per the post, he saw “police and army and media everywhere on the Red Fort metro”. He further emphasised on the rarity of the incident as he claimed that he has never seen such a huge number of Army personnel in the metro station before. However, it’s important to note that the Redditor did not share any picture or video to back his claims. Please note: Reddit or any other social media platform, unless official, is NOT exactly a platform that is considered a source of ‘accurate information’. Times Now too could not confirm the details and the authenticity of the Reddit post and its claims. Naturally, the minute the reports of the blast began to circulate, netizens started reacting to the post that was made before the tragedy. Many were quick to realise that the student possibly felt off.The car explosion happened outside Gate No.1 of Red Fort Metro Station in Delhi, on Monday, November 10. The explosion reportedly took place at 6:52 PM– after a slow-moving vehicle stopped at the red light. The other nearby vehicles also caught fire after the explosion, which only added fuel to the chaos. The car that exploded was reportedly being driven by Dr Umar Un Nabi, a Pulwama doctor, who was also believed to be the mastermind of the attack, as per the investigation.
