Meet Bengaluru’s Female Auto Driver Who Chose Her Freedom Over Everything Else!

‘Inspiring’ was the term that most got reminded of after a story of a Bengaluru woman choosing her freedom and independence over everything else came forward. Taking to social media, an Amazon employee working in Bengaluru recalled her wholesome interaction with a female auto driver. As per the post, the female driver picked her up for a ride, and asked for help with directions, as her phone was facing issues. While conversing about the same, the passenger, curious, asked the reason behind the woman’s profession, to which she stated: “Bartan majne se toh accha hai auto chalana (It’s better to ride an auto than washing dishes).”“Today, a lady auto driver came to pick me up. She was facing an issue with her phone, so she asked me to guide her with the directions.

While casually talking to her, I asked what made her choose driving an auto,” the post read.Allegedly, the auto driver likes to drive around, due to which the profession is "perfect" for her. She also highlighted how the profession hardly has any time restrictions.“She smiled and said, 'Bartan majne se toh accha hai auto chalana, kyuki mujhe ghumna bhi pasand hai aur yahan time ka bhi koi restriction nahi hai jitna marzi, jab marzi auto chala sakti hu aur kahin bhija sakti hu (It’s better than washing dishes. I like to drive around and this profession does not have any time restrictions. I can drive the auto whenever I want and go around wherever I want),” the post read.“I genuinely admire women who choose work that gives her independence, and freedom,” the post further read.The video immediately went viral, pulling many reactions.
