An Australian vlogger has taken up a “scary” and “unusual” challenge — to travel across India for 1,723 km without any money, relying entirely on the kindness of strangers. He shared a video on Instagram
documenting Day 1 of the journey, where he announced the challenge and described it as “scary.”Duncan McNaught took to Instagram to share the video, in which he can be seen standing by the roadside holding a placard that reads, “Need ride, no money.” As the challenge begins, several people are seen helping him along the way. In the video, he explains that after covering the first 32 km of his 1,723 km journey, he had managed to collect $32. However, as he continued further, the amount reduced to $26 due to expenses.Reflecting on his experience, he says in the video, “This challenge has been really hard, but one thing is for sure — the people of India have been extremely kind to me.” The video was captioned, “Day 1 of crossing India with no money.”
