Indians and their ‘lack of civic sense’ were back on the dock, after a problematic video surfaced on social media. The clip was of a couple, casually cooking an entire meal on the side of a highway. Believe
it or not, from chopped vegetables to ‘rotis’ and from a gas cylinder to even a gas stove– the two had everything. The couple also had a tiny kid with them, who was sitting near the family’s car, which seemingly had the rest of the supplies. The video was seemingly being recorded by a passerby, who spotted the family and began to record the unexpected incident. The cameraperson then began to confront the family, only for the duo to say how they were “NOT on the road”, but were in the “rest area”.The camera then showed another road nearby. The video began to circulate online, drawing many reactions. It was unclear if it was actually a “rest area"; it still left many triggered as netizens stated how the couple was still not supposed to turn a highway into their kitchen. Many netizens also demanded strict actions against such people.Times Now could not confirm the details and the authenticity of the post.Check out the viral post: “Civic sense is a rare luxury in India, something not everyone seems able to afford.
