As per the video, the woman had received the ‘crochet varmala’ as an ‘order’ from a couple, who wanted to ditch the age-old ‘flower garlands’ and wanted to choose something new. The clip quickly went viral, mostly because netizens loved the idea.Many people lauded the concept of knitting something as important as a ‘varmala’, pointing out how it can be saved for years to come, as a reminder of the special day.
