The ‘OG Halwa-Puri and Channa’ meal is usually what people get to eat at religious events or during festivals- with that said, it’s understandable why a Pune woman was left surprised and amused after she ended up receiving the same meal at one of the most unexpected places; a flight! The woman, Priti Jain, who allegedly took an Air India flight to travel from Delhi to Bali, was left shocked after receiving the ‘Halwa-Puri and Channa’ combo as her in-flight meal. Calling herself the "first in the bloodline”, the woman recalled how she and her husband had a hard time believing their eyes. The woman claimed that her husband did not have the meal as he does not like “cold puri”, which is why she happily ended up eating both meals. The post immediately
went viral, leaving many pleased. Most called it “nostalgic”, while others shared their own instances of getting such “desi meals”.Times Now could not confirm the details of the post.Check out the viral post: “First in my bloodline and probably even my entire friend Biradari to get halwa puri channa served as an in-flight meal. This was on our Delhi to Bali flight. Husband was shocked to see the meal and avoided because he doesn’t like thandi puris that much. I was kinda happy though and finished his meal too. On a lighter note, has anyone else ever been served this on an Air India flight?” the post read. The post was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by the handle ‘mepritijain’.
