Letting his ‘chef side’ take over, New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon recently made headlines after he tried his hand at making Jalebis! The New Zealand PM attended a gathering that was being
hosted by the Sikh community, full of games, sports, and other cultural festivities. Amid the celebration, PM Luxon seemingly decided to be a part of the jalebi-making competition, resulting in him making the popular traditional Indian sweet. The gathering was reportedly held in Auckland, where Takanini MP Rima Nakhle also attended it, alongside Luxon. The duo had attended the opening ceremony, along with meeting the athletes. Later, the New Zealand PM took to his social media to share a wholesome video of him making the sweet at one of the food stalls, while people around him cheered on.Along with the clip, Luxon also wished other competitors luck and shared a hilarious warning for people who were about to eat the Jalebis that he had made. “Good luck to all those competing – and to those who end up eating my attempt at making jalebi,” his caption read.As soon as the video was shared, netizens started commenting on it.
