A speeding train is not exactly what Mumbai has been able to see in the last few days. In fact, it’s the delayed Mumbai local, submerged railway tracks, station damage, and such- that have taken over the city ever since the monsoon turned deadly in Maharashtra. Keeping that in mind, one can imagine the impression the Vande Bharat Express ended up creating after it became the “only train to beat the rain” for the internet! Confused? A video allegedly from Mumbai is going viral on social media, which showed a Vande Bharat smoothly speeding through submerged railway tracks. As per netizens, the incident unfolded near Kanjurmarg. What was further "cinematic and dramatic" about the clip and the incident was the way the loco pilot seemingly decided
not to slow down the speeding train, resulting in a huge splash that even “rained” over a highway above the tracks.Amid many appreciating the train’s potential, many also shared their suspicions, stating that the video looked “AI-generated”. Many also claimed that it was “not Mumbai”. Times Now could not verify the details and the authenticity of the post.Reportedly, the Mumbai local train services are facing significant disruptions on Monday morning, July 6, due to heavy rainfall. Commuters have reported delays ranging from 3 to 16 minutes on multiple lines, causing inconvenience during the morning rush hour. On the Central Railway, services on the CSMT-Kalyan route were particularly affected, with fast trains running 3 minutes late and slow trains 6 minutes behind schedule.Check out the viral post: “Feels like a Movie Scene ft Vande Bharat Express!” the post read.
