A rather questionable WhatsApp conversation between an employer and his Gen Z employee is doing rounds on social media, leaving netizens triggered and somewhat satisfied! Confused? Well, a picture of the text messages were shared online, which showed the employee asking for a day’s leave over a “death in the family”. However, despite the gravity of the reason, the ‘toxic’ manager responded with a no, highlighting how a client meeting was more important. The boss then went ahead and stated how the employee could still try making it to the office, as it was not the employee’s parents who had passed away.
