Perhaps that’s why, when the skies in the UK’s Birmingham city turned pink– its citizens were left mesmerised and curious instead- as they couldn't place an explanation behind the unique sky-colour. Moreover, the snow covered city and the snowy sky only made the entire thing further breathtaking. Reportedly, the incident happened on Thursday evening, January 08, mainly in the West Midlands, videos of which soon went viral. As soon as videos and pictures of the pink skies began to circulate on social media, all kinds of speculations began to flood the internet- from ‘aliens and UFO theories’, ‘surprise visit by Aurora lights’, a rare natural
phenomena to whatnot– people had a lot to say.So, what exactly turned the skies pink in Birmingham?Soon after the citizens and netizens were left wondering; it was revealed that the reason behind the pink skies had more to do with some ‘LED lights’, and less to do with conspiracy theories and rare natural phenomena. It was simply the pink LED light on the pitch at Birmingham City's football ground– that was making everything pink. Reportedly, the same was also confirmed by the club.Pictures of pink LED lights shining on the pitch inside the club also began to do rounds on social media, further solving the ‘pretty’ mystery. Many also shared how the snow in the sky further made the light scatter quite naturally. Soon, along with the pink skies, images and pictures of Birmingham City's St Andrew's stadium also began to go viral.
