Prioritising his ‘self-respect’, a man seemingly did not hesitate to take a rather drastic step in his professional life- which quickly won the internet over. Taking to social media, the man- allegedly
from Uttarakhand's Dehradun- shared about how he ‘resigned’ from his organisation over being disrespected. The post had a screenshot of the WhatsApp conversation he later had with his ‘toxic manager’- which was rather short, but long enough to make netizens get a hint about what possibly happened. As per the text, the man’s manager was apologising about something that happened a day before. By the looks of it, the manager had said something that was offensive enough that he was worried that the employee would take it ‘personally’.As the conversation continued, it became clear that the man did not attend the office the next day, leaving the boss wondering about his whereabouts– only to get informed about the employee’s incoming resignation mail.“Again, I want to say bro, sorry for yesterday. Don't feel bad or take it personally. Always there for you,” the manager's text had read. “Sham ho gayi bhai kha h? (It’s almost evening, where are you?), the manager's next message read.Responding to the text, the employee wrote, “I’m done Sir. Resignation mail bhej raha hu apko. I’ll not continue here.”The boss further asked if they could talk, only to get a ‘no’ in response. The post was quick to go viral, where most netizens sided with the employee and appreciated him for valuing his ‘self-respect’. Times Now could not confirm the details and the authenticity of the post.Check out the viral post: “This is the end... Hold your breath and count to 10,” the post read. The post was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘ashutosh_0_7’. The post was shared a few days ago and pulled more than 2M views from netizens.
