A Zomato delivery worker is going viral for his act of kindness after rescuing a puppy that was moments away from being hit by a car on a busy main road. After saving the puppy, he went a step further

and adopted it. The entire incident, captured on video, has since gone viral and garnered significant internet attention, with netizens applauding him for his compassion.The video was shared on Instagram by a user identified as @dev.drilling. In the clip, the man, dressed in a Zomato delivery agent’s uniform, gently holds the rescued puppy and says in Hindi, “Dekho bhaiyo, bahut dino baad koi dost mila hai mujhe. Road par aise bhaag raha tha, aur maine kaha bhai sahab ruk jao, ruk jao. Teen baar gaadi ke aage aate-aate bach gaya. Ab isko ghar leke ja rahe hain. Namaste bol do sabko.” (“Look, brothers, after a long time I’ve found a friend. He was running on the road like this, and I kept saying, ‘Brother, stop, stop.’ He narrowly escaped getting hit by cars three times. Now I’m taking him home. Say namaste to everyone.”)

He later posted another video in which he further explained, “I was delivering an order as part of my daily work. Suddenly, I saw a little puppy running in the middle of the main road. I tried to find his mother, but no one was there for him. I did my best to locate his family, but then I decided to adopt him and take him with me. I kindly request everyone—please don’t shop, just adopt.”
