‘A Big Thank You’: Woman Loses iPad On Train To Bhopal, Recovers It At Next Station Through RailMadad App

Losing an expensive item on public transport is one of the worst travel mishaps that can happen to people in India. With something similar in mind, panicking was a rather appropriate response by this woman- who allegedly forgot her iPad on the Indian Railways’ train on December 28. However, what happened next was something that not only left her thankful but also surprised. Taking to social media, the woman- shared the horrible incident that allegedly happened with her on a train to Bhopal. She allegedly forgot the iPad on the train, and only realised it an hour later. Panicking, she registered a report on the RailMadad app and called #139. To her amazement, she did end up getting a response within minutes.Allegedly, she got a call from the “helpline,

a quick follow-up with RPF + the TTE on the train, and staff at the next station, Itarsi”, after which, her “iPad was recovered”. Recalling the incident and appreciating the staff’s quick action, the woman expressed her gratitude. The post went viral and left netizens reacting.
