A foreign man, allegedly trying to undo how “social media” did “India dirty” with multiple stereotypes, ended up being the most impressed with a state– with which he hardly had any expectations! Jack Heaton- a traveller- is currently touring Indian states, and so far, the one which ended up winning him over in the most unexpected manner turned out to be Karnataka. “I had no real expectations for Karnataka, but it surprised me,” the man stated. Calling it “ahead of its times”, Heaton stated that it is the “only place in India that is living in the future”.“I think social media has done India a little dirty, honestly. Don’t get me wrong, some of the stereotypes can be true in places - not everywhere is clean or safe etc - but I want to balance
the argument a little,” the man had explained. Amid this same tour, his Karnataka- specifically his Bengaluru visit- turned into a gold mine. As per the man’s video, he has a few friends in Bengaluru, which is why he was able to experience the local spots as well.Apart from the city’s traffic, he found Bangalore “incredibly liveable”. “I found Bangalore incredibly liveable (minus the traffic), full of hardworking young people trying to do their best for themselves, whilst also still being pretty friendly. I also had a couple of friends in Bangalore, so I got more local insights & spent Holi there, so it holds a special place for me & for that reason it takes over Tamil Nadu,” the post read. The video went viral soon after getting shared, drawing all kinds of reactions. Most sided with the man’s observation, while some suggested that he visit Kerala next.Check out the viral post: The post was shared on Instagram by the handle ‘JACK HEATON’.
