North Korean ‘Dictator’ Kim Jong Un’s ‘Spa Day Out’, Here’s What he Did… | Viral Video

Finding the term ‘spa’ and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in the same sentence was NOT in the Bingo card for 2026– however, that is exactly what ended up happening for the world! A video recently began to circulate on social media, which showed the North Korean leader visiting a spa. The footage was reportedly shared by the state, which showed Korea’s General Secretary of the Workers' Party casually touring newly renovated hot springs and luxury resorts. As per Rodong Sinmun, the party's official newspaper, the visit took place on Wednesday, January 21.The resort had multiple baths with people enjoying the hot water– yet Kim remained out of the water, dressed in a long black jacket and pants, which he had paired with a white shirt and tie.

The leader was not alone, as a few other officials were with him, inspecting the hot springs, while some guests continued with their bath. Kim also reportedly attended the opening ceremony for the Onpo Workers' Rest Home. As per News1, the facility came under Kim’s radar in July 2018, which is when he had visited the site and had pointed out its poor management.North Korea is not exactly open to the world, like the rest of the world, which is connected to each other. There are very numbered and specific events that manage to come out of the country, for the rest to see. Earlier this month, the North Korean leader was in the headlines for his visit to the Kumsusan mausoleum, along with his daughter Kim Ju Ae. For Kim Ju Ae, it was her first public visit to the mausoleum, to pay her respect to North Korea’s former leaders: Kim Jong Un’s grandfather and state founder Kim Il Sung, and the current ruler’s father Kim Jong Il.
