She took a ride on the metro and later posted her review on Instagram, and the video has since been making the rounds online. The clip was shared by the Instagram account @an.leman. In the video, the woman can be seen standing at the front of the women’s coach while travelling on the Delhi Metro, offering a unique point-of-view of the journey. Expressing her surprise, she says, “Today we test the women’s carriage. I do not know how, but the subway in India drives without a driver.”During the ride, she also appears to notice that a man may have mistakenly entered the women’s coach, which briefly catches her attention.
The video offers viewers a rare glimpse of the front view from inside the coach, something that many commuters, especially men, usually don’t get to experience. The video was captioned, “So, I discovered that the New Delhi Metro is no worse than the metro in Moscow (or maybe even better). I’m surprised.” Since being shared, the clip has gone viral and received a wide range of reactions online.
Several users praised the Delhi Metro after watching the video. One user commented, “Thank you for sharing this POV of the front view from the train. We men unfortunately can’t experience this in real life because of the women’s coach.” Another noted how international travellers are increasingly appreciating the Delhi Metro, writing, “Lots of foreigners share their experiences that the Delhi Metro is far better than NYC, London, and Toronto metros in terms of cleanliness, speed, and execution.”Another user simply remarked, “Well, it’s very beautiful to see when you’re standing in the front of the metro.”While many viewers welcomed her perspective and praised the metro system, others urged her to remain cautious while travelling in Delhi and using public transport.
