‘Common sense is not so common among common people’ is quite an old phrase that somewhat questions and even derogates the common understanding of people in general. However, with what face exactly can
one attack such phrases– when THESE are the kinds of things that happen in India. A video was recently shared on social media, which showed a crowd worshiping a shrine-like structure, with flowers all around it. From folding their hands to bowing down- there were all kinds of devotional acts happening. Everything sounds rather normal, correct? Well, not exactly– it turned out that the shrine-like structure was NOT a temple at all- but was a dustbin instead! Yes, take your time to digest that. To make things further clear, the bin also had “Use Me” written on it– in bold!Yes, it seems that people somehow missed it, resulting in a huge gathering worshiping a dustbin! As per the post, what led to such a ‘misunderstanding’ was a bouquet of flowers– that was allegedly lying on the dustbin.Times Now could not confirm the details and the authenticity of the post. Check out the viral post: “In a strange and funny turn of events, people in a local area started worshipping a dustbin after some flowers were accidentally dropped on it. The dustbin had ‘Use Me’ written on it, but soon it became the center of attention for all the wrong reasons,” the post read. The post was shared on Instagram, by ‘indiarewind.in’. The post was shared yesterday and pulled 9K views from people. We could not embed the video due to abusive words in the background song. Internet's reactions: “This is deeper than just superstition. People are living such a terrible life that only a miracle can save them. They know the gov doesn't care for them so whatever or whoever gives them hope they go for it,” a user said.ALSO READ: ‘Kya Ye Civic Sense Hain?’ Delhi’s Chandni Chowk Resembles ‘Dump Yard’ Due To Heavy Littering; Video “As one once said- common sense is not so common among common people,” added another person. “What is wrong with India man?
