In a typical ‘Mumbai local’ incident, a rather sad video showed the desperation among passengers to board the local train. The video was shared on social media, which went viral and left netizens with
a whole lot of questions. The clip showed a massive crowd risking their lives– just to board the train allegedly from the Thane Station. As per the viral video, the incident unfolded on November 06 due to the trains running late. Reportedly, the Central Railway employees had held a protest against the booking of two railway engineers in connection to the Mumbai train accident that took place on June 09. The protest was staged at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), resulting in many trains running late.Due to late trains, the crowd at the Thane station was left with no other option but to gather in large numbers while waiting for their ride home. As soon as the post went viral, netizens began to react. Most questioned the authorities for poor maintenance of public transport, while the rest expressed concerns for the passengers and their well-being.Times Now could not confirm the details and the authenticity of the post.
