Singh, widely recognised online as “IIT Baba” after his appearance during the Maha Kumbh 2025, has reportedly tied the knot with a Bengaluru-based engineer.According to a Dainik Jagran report, Singh married Pratika in Himachal Pradesh on February 15, a date that coincided with Mahashivratri. The news of the wedding surfaced after the couple visited his hometown in Jhajjar. Their wedding video and pictures have since gone viral on social media.
Pratika, an engineer from Bengaluru, revealed that they met about a year ago, and what began as a friendship gradually blossomed into a romantic relationship. She described Singh as a simple and truthful person, adding that they are content and happy together. The couple also shared with Dainik Jagran that they aim to start a Sanatan-focused university that blends modern education with spiritual teachings.After the wedding, Singh returned home with his wife, where his mother greeted them with traditional rituals, including aarti and sweets. Their home soon became a hub of visitors eager to meet the couple and click pictured with them. During this period, Singh faced struggles with depression, which prompted him to search for deeper meaning in life and explore the workings of the mind.Eventually, he left his corporate career behind and embraced a spiritual path. At the Mahakumbh Mela in 2025, he appeared dressed in traditional monk attire, capturing public attention.Singh’s fame skyrocketed after a media interview at the event, where the interviewer was visibly surprised to learn of his IIT Bombay background. This revelation earned him the nickname “IIT Baba” or “IITian Baba.”
