A viral claim circulating on social media has sparked debate after a Pakistani user, identifying himself as a journalist, alleged that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif privately watched Dhurandhar 2, despite the film being officially banned in Pakistan and even appreciated a character reportedly inspired by him. The post quickly gained traction online, drawing mixed reactions, with many questioning its authenticity.The claim was shared on X by a user identified as Khalid Mehmood Khalid (@kmkhalid62). In the viral post, he wrote, ''Nawaz Sharif greatly appreciated his role in Dhurandhar 2. He asked a friend to arrange a copy of the film and watched it in full.'' The user also tagged journalist Aditya Raj Kaul, who is associated with the film as a research

Another remarked, ''Even he watched a pirated copy. Pakistan bans a film and all Pakistanis watch pirated copies shamelessly. Typical Pakistan.''
