A 7-foot crocodile that was terrorising people near the Powai Lake in Mumbai, Maharashtra, has finally been caught in a dramatic rescue. The deadly reptile was spotted near a dargah in Morarji Nagar, close to Powai Lake, causing panic among local residents. The crocodile’s presence was simply an added issue for residents, keeping in mind the already existing struggles that Mumbaikars are going through amid heavy rain across the city. As soon as the panic began to spread, people contacted the Forest Department, which immediately arrived at the spot.Officials said that the crocodile was rescued in a joint operation, where the Forest Department worked along with a rescue team. The crocodile was later safely captured without any injuries. The reptile is currently
undergoing a medical examination, and officials have said that its condition is stable.
