Virality doesn’t always come with a paycheck and one creator learned that the hard way after turning an eye-catching luxury stunt into a real-world experiment.In a now-viral Instagram video, a creator known as deluxebhaiyaji documented his attempt to fuse extravagance with everyday street culture by serving tea out of a rented Rolls-Royce.The concept was simple but ambitious. He spent Rs 1 lakh to rent the luxury car and collaborated with a local tea seller to execute the idea. To attract attention, he designed posters, set up a small stall, and included snacks to elevate the offering. The pitch leaned heavily on curiosity, asking people if they had ever “had tea in a Rolls Royce.”To justify the premium feel, the experience was carefully curated.
Guests were welcomed with thoughtful additions like a branded umbrella and served saffron-infused tea while seated inside the car. Some were even given short rides, turning the setup into more than just a tea stall, it became a full “luxury tea” experience.The stunt succeeded in drawing crowds. Onlookers gathered, families stopped by, and many were willing to try something so unusual. While a cup of tea was priced at Rs 300, the real revenue driver was the paid experience of sitting inside the Rolls-Royce.But despite the buzz and footfall, the financial outcome told a different story. The creator later revealed that his total expenses reached around Rs 1.08 lakh, while his earnings capped at Rs 88,400, leaving him at a loss.
