Company Offering WFH Role, Asks Employees To Provide ‘Work Screenshot Every 10 Minutes’

Rejecting a Work From Home role is not exactly what people do anymore- after all, what’s better than working from the comforts and flexibility of home? However, when this woman was offered a WFH role by a company, she was left with no other option but to reject it! Taking to social media, the woman shared a video where she recalled the reasons behind such a decision. As per her claim, everything was fine until the company began explaining its ‘policy’. Allegedly, not only does the said organisation ask its employees to record their screens but it also asks employees to provide a screenshot of their work “every 10 minutes”.Allegedly, the move was to keep track of productivity by employees. Calling it a “torture”, she claimed that such “strict culture and micromanagement” will never let her grow.“It is a WFH role, in which the company wants to keep a track of our work. By that, they meant that they will record our screen, along with watching you all the time. On top of that, they will take your screenshot of working every 10 minutes. It feels more like a torture to me. The moment she told me that policy, my interest dropped.
