Bengaluru: In an unusual incident, a passenger reportedly missed his flight from the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) despite arriving nearly two and a half hours before departure. A video circulating
on social media shows a verbal spat between the passenger and a staff member, sparking discussions about airport infrastructure and passenger processing times at one of India’s busiest aviation hubs, which serves around 130,000 passengers per day. What Happened?Although the passenger reached the airport on time, he faced long queues at check-in and security, along with a huge crowd on the premises, according to a social media post by Karnataka Portfolio, which has 16.8K followers on X (formerly Twitter). In the viral video, the passenger alleged he was not allowed to move ahead even though he was ready to pay for his 4kg luggage allowance. A heated argument broke out between him and a staff member, who was heard saying, “Whom are you threatening to? What will you do after meeting me outside?”
