‘Their 3 Months’ Salary Should Be Deducted’: Viral Videos Slam CBSE Re-Evaluation Error

Indian students and families with kids losing trust in something as “trusted” as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) was not something that the nation saw coming in 2026– yet that is exactly what ended up happening after the Class 12th CBSE students finally got their hands on their “checked” marksheets just recently. Ever since the Class 12th CBSE results were declared, several students have been raising concerns over possible “wrong markings” and "incorrect evaluation”.The fact that CBSE had switched to the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system for this year’s evaluation, instead of mutual checking, was another factor that was bothering many. It was then that students finally received their “marked answer sheets”, that they started allegedly

marking errors. It was class 12 student Vedant Shrivastava who first raised the issue, followed by CBSE admitting its mistake. Unfortunately enough, Shrivastava was not the only one, as in the last few days, several students and parents have come forward with their queries and “proof” of “marking errors”.Some even alleged that their “answer sheets were missing”, while others claimed that pictures of the sheets were hardly visited. Some went as far as claiming that their answer sheets were exchanged with those of other students.Currently, the internet is witnessing a sea of angry and frustrated reactions, as students are not only demanding for a solution and "manual reevaluation”, but are also asking for stricter punishment for those responsible.Among all the videos, the one that is going viral the most recently is of a student demanding a "deduction of 3-month salary” for those responsible.Check out the viral post: “CBSE and Education Ministry are playing with the future of millions of students. All the officials involved in this disaster should be fired immediately and their 3 months’ salary should be deducted,” the post read. The post was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by the handle ‘Talk2anuradha’. It was shared yesterday and pulled over 4K views from people.
