Sonipat Sanitation Worker Sweeps Trash Onto Tracks At Train Station, Internet Demands Action

Watching sanitation workers littering around in the name of “cleanliness”-- in something that has become common in India; or so it can be said based on the number of times online videos showed cleaners sweeping off trash onto the sides of the roads, rivers and railways tracks! A video recently came forward from Sonipat, Haryana, which showed a cleaner casually sweeping off trash onto train tracks at a railway station. The video was being recorded from an overbridge, which showed the man first cleaning the platform and then dumping the collected trash onto the tracks.The video immediately went viral, leaving the internet fuming. after the video went viral, the official handle of the Railway Seva also responded to the matter; “To ensure proper investigation and necessary action in this matter, please share the following details: date and time of the incident, mobile number. Internet’s reactions: “The cleaner himself does not know how to keep the surroundings clean. This is ridiculous,” a user said. “Someone needs to educate him about the importance of his work.
