The video was captioned, "More strict actions against paper leaks to come in tomorrow's Cabinet!" It has garnered over 300 million views, more than 17 million likes, and over 1 million comments. He began the video by saying, "Friends..."

The video sparked a frenzy among Gen Z audiences. The way PM Modi opened the video with "Friends..." instantly resonated with many Instagram users, and the comment section was soon flooded with Gen Z-style comments and reactions.After the release of the video, PM Modi's Instagram following increased from 101 million to 102 million overnight.Before the buzz around the first video had subsided, PM Modi's official Instagram account released another video on July 24. He once again began by saying, "Thank you, friends...", which again appeared to resonate with Gen Z audiences on Instagram. The video was captioned, "Thanks to the youngsters who watched my video yesterday and sent insightful suggestions."In less than 24 hours, the second video had already surpassed 100 million views, received more than 8 million likes, and attracted over 800,000 comments. Following the release of the second video, PM Modi's Instagram following rose further to 103 million.
