A video is going viral on social media showing a train crashing into a truck at a railway crossing on the Jasidih-Madhupur section of the eastern railway. The incident took place when the truck was passing through the railway crossing amid heavy traffic.According to the video that has surfaced on social media, it shows a railway crossing on the Jasidih-Madhupur section packed with vehicles while a passenger train is approaching from one of the ends. Amid this, as several vehicles were seen rushing to cross the section, a truck got stuck in the traffic with the rear part of the heavy vehicle hovering over the track on which the train was approaching.
Though the locomotive driver may have applied brakes, but given that it takes time for a train to halt, by the time it stopped, it had already hit the truck.

Goods Train Derails in Another Minor Incident
In another incident, a minor derailment of a goods train in Pattambi on Sunday caused delays to several passenger trains, railway officials said.A spokesperson for the Southern Railway’s Palakkad Division said the wheels of one bogie of the goods train derailed near Pallipuram station at around 11.30 am.
