The results were declared today, November 14. The counting of the votes began at 8 AM in the morning.The elections were held for 243 seats, whereas parties and alliances needed 122 seats to form the government- with simple majority.So far (9 PM), the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is in the lead with 202 seats, followed by the Grand Alliance (Mahagathbandhan) with 35 seats. Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj party, on the other hand, has 0 seats under its name so far.Coming to the wins, the BJP so far has won 82 seats, while the JD(U) bagged 73 constituencies. RJD won 22 seats, and Congress managed to clinch only 6.
