IndiGo is trying its very best to regain control of the situation amid the ongoing chaos involving thousands of flight cancellations and delays. The disruption has affected both passengers and cabin crew, who have been seen at various airports doing everything they can to manage the situation. Passengers have flooded social media with complaints, sparking widespread outrage over the airline’s operational mess. However, while many shared their frustration, one passenger claimed she experienced “no drama” and “no issues” during her IndiGo journey , a stark contrast to the chaos others described. The passenger, identified as Kanika, shared the details of her trip on X, writing: “took an indigo flight. flew on time. landed before time. got my luggage
without drama. am I god’s favourite child or what?” She also posted a screenshot showing her boarding pass with IndiGo branding, and mentioned that she flew from Jodhpur to Bengaluru. The post was shared on December 6, 2025.
Her post has since gone viral, sparking mixed reactions. While some users joked that she “made up a fake story for views,” others expressed hope that ''they too might have a smooth travel experience amid the crisis.'' Responding to sceptics, Kanika said that ''she was ready to show her full boarding pass to prove she wasn’t lying.''The airline has been struggling to roll out new crew-rostering rules that require longer mandatory rest hours for pilots. Despite advance notice, reports suggest IndiGo failed to adequately prepare its staffing and scheduling systems. As of December 7, several flights at multiple airports continue to face delays and cancellations. However, IndiGo has claimed that it has improved its on-time performance to 75%, up from 30% the previous day, and assured that operations will soon return to normal.
