On one hand, India is reading headlines about hundreds of stray dogs being poisoned, while on the other hand, videos like THESE are proving why not just India, but any other country out there needs animals
like community dogs for the better. The video showed a woman recording herself at around 12 AM, while she was allegedly returning to her home. Turns out, it wasn’t her walk that she wanted to film, but it was rather a wholesome moment with her furry friend that she wanted to capture. As per the woman, she returned home late for the last two days, and each night, she was accompanied by the adorable stray dog– walking behind her– "assuring" her “safety”.The video showed the stray- Sheru- patiently walking behind the woman, as the duo headed towards the woman’s home in the dead of the night. All in all, the woman wanted to show how the street dog was friendly and affectionate enough that it wanted to make sure that the woman was not alone. The video went viral in an instant, drawing multiple reactions. Most loved the bond the two had, while some even suggested the woman adopt the dog. A few also dubbed such incidents as the prime example of why community dogs deserve love and respect.Times Now could not confirm the details of the post. Check out the viral post:“A girl shares her heartwarming story of a loyal dog who waits for her whenever she returns home late from work and safely walks her home every night. The internet has called this touching relationship ‘unconditional love’ as it beautifully captures the bond between humans and animals,” the post read. The video was shared on Instagram by the handle ‘Times Now’. The post was shared yesterday and pulled more than 5K views from netizens.
