A simple overnight bus journey that was supposed to take a solo female traveller from Chandigarh to Gurugram– instead turned into something “beyond pathetic”, leaving the woman recalling the incident on social media and ranting about the same. In her online shared clip, the woman claimed that she had booked a Chandigarh to Gurugram bus, which was supposed to leave the pick-up point at 11 PM. Allegedly, she reached the pick-up point 10 minutes early, only to find out that the driver had parked the bus 15 minutes away from the pick-up point.Panicking over missing the bus, the woman asked the driver to wait for her to reach the “random pick-up point”, only for him to talk to her rudely on the phone. To make matters worse, the bus driver left without
her, leaving her irked. Taking to social media, the woman explained the entire incident and schooled the company through which she had booked the bus.“This was beyond pathetic. I was at the correct boarding point ON TIME, and your bus was randomly waiting 10–15 mins away at some petrol pump with ZERO intimation. Because of YOUR mismanagement, I missed my bus. And the conductor? Rude, arrogant, and absolutely unapologetic. Instead of helping, he just said ‘not my fault.’ A solo female traveler stranded at night because you can’t even manage basic coordination? Disgusting,” the woman wrote.The traveller then revealed that she was left with no other option but to book another bus, which turned out to be not only a “financial stress” for her but also a “mental suffering”. She further asked for a “full refund and compensation”.“And this isn’t even the first time — clearly a pattern. When YOU are late, it’s ‘adjust. When a passenger needs 5 mins (because of YOUR mistake), you leave them behind. Had to book another bus and suffer mentally + financially because of you. I want a FULL refund + compensation.
