Feelings like mourning, grieving and crying are mostly associated with humans. However, time and again, it has been proven how such feelings and experiences can very well be experienced by animals as well. The internet was recently reminded of the same, after a rather emotional video came forward. The clip showed a monkey– mourning the passing away of a woman who allegedly used to take care of the furry one. As per The Times Of India, the woman was 85-year-old, and used to feed monkeys regularly. It was one of these monkeys who was seen grieving.The incident is reportedly from Rayara Doddi in Channapatna, which is near Bengaluru, Karnataka. Wrapped in multiple fabrics and garlands, the caretaker was seemingly being prepared to be taken for her last
rites. The heartbreaking video showed the monkey hugging the caretaker.The video left many emotional, calling it an example of how animals too feel love and compassion for their human friends.The post was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by the handle ‘RakeshKishore_l’.
